Right from the start we were impressed with Blair’s prompt response to our initial request for an appraisal
on our house, and with the proposal, particularly in comparison with the other agencies that we also
contacted. We felt confident that he had an excellent understanding of the market as well as being able to
draw on a large existing database of potential buyers. Blair also understood what we wanted to do in terms
of marketing the property in a particular way to attract the right buyers. But ultimately it was Blair’s easy
going manner, sense of humour, and obvious enthusiasm for our house that ‘sold’ us.
As we prepared the house for sale he gave us excellent advice on what needed to be done to improve the
overall appeal of the property (nothing escaped him!), and carefully managed the photography with a real
eye for detail. Blair also ran all advertising material past us to ensure that we were 100% happy with it, and
he was always prepared to take our ideas on board, as well as being quick to snap up some exciting
opportunities on our behalf - like the cover of the Property Press magazine!
Once the viewings and open homes started Blair was inundated with enquiries, but never failed to keep us
completely informed and up to date as things progressed quickly. We knew that he was under a lot of
pressure with the amount of enquiries that he was dealing with but never let it show and always retained
the utmost professionalism. Blair was also mindful of the fact that we have small children and so tried his
best to keep viewings to days and times that suited us, and to give us as much notice as possible.
Our house sold within two weeks, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Blair gave us all the
information we needed to make our own decisions and we never felt pressured into anything, though he
was happy to give his opinion when we asked for it.

I would like to share my recent experience after dealing with Blair Stanaway.
Recently my wife and I unsuccessfully tried selling our property with another agency, only to have an
experience which confirmed all the stereotypes of real estate agents. After having over invested in
marketing, been pushed in an unsuitable method of sale, dealing with agents that did not listen to
instruction and dealing with a manager who refused to take any responsibility, we were left not wanting to

I would like to thank Blair for the work he put into selling my property. The initial consultation filled me with
confidence that we would get a satisfactory outcome.
The marketing plan was full and comprehensive, covering all the possible bases a prospective purchaser
may use to seek a property to purchase. The photos and virtual tour that were placed on-line were very
impressive, and I could hardly believe it was my house he was advertising.
The on-going weekly feedback was good, informative, and Blair was not afraid to ask if there was anything
else I thought he should be doing.
I was kept up to date on prospective purchasers and what they were thinking, was given both positive and
negative feedback on how these people viewed the property itself with both its strong and weak points. The
weak points were things beyond our control so no one dwelled on that, and we all kept positive.
The positive - complementary feedback I received as to how I was presenting the home for the open homes
was well received and appreciated the night of the auction.
The property was presented so well with impressive slide show, the auctioneer put in a great effort, and I
was hopeful of a positive outcome. Unfortunately, there was only the one bidder who did not come up with
an acceptable offer, so understandably I was not feeling too good at the end of the night.
Blair insisted I stay positive, and assured me he would review all prospective buyers the next day and see if
there were any other interested parties.
The day after the auction True to his word, Blair had an increased offer from the auction night bidder, but
he was also holding onto to a much better offer from another prospective purchaser, my spirits were once
again buoyed by his efforts, and accepted the new improved offer immediately.
I will admit to being a nervous seller throughout the entire process, and Blair did a great job in keeping that
nervousness in check as well as he could. Overall, he got the job done, did a fantastic job, and I am very
pleased he was the agent I had working on my property. I would have no hesitation recommending him to
any vendor looking for a committed modern agency to sell their home.
